Whether you are a student, a school, a volunteer or a sponsor, your contribution will help us expand access to sailing for all and shape the future of the sport in Hong Kong.
For the Young Sailors of Tomorrow:
If you've ever looked out at the harbour and wondered what it feels like to be on the water, this is your invitation! You don't need any experience. You don't need any equipment. You don't need to know how to swim like an Olympian.
All you need is curiosity and a willingness to give it a try.
2. For School Principals, Teachers, and Parents:
We are actively collaborating with schools across Hong Kong to incorporate sailing into their sports programmes. Our initiative started in September 2025 with Chan Pak Sha School and Pui Tak Canossian College, and we have since added St. Peter’s Secondary School as a partner.
We work with associations such as the Aberdeen Kaifong Welfare Association Services Centre and The Boys' and Girls' Clubs Association of Hong Kong to ensure accessibility for everyone!
If you'd like your school to be considered, we'd love to hear from you.
3. For our Donors & Supporters
Sail Onward HK exists because of people who believe that opportunity shouldn't be limited by background. Every contribution, large or small, directly funds:
Boat time and equipment for students who might otherwise never afford them
Coaching and safety support from qualified instructors
Transport, gear, and refreshments on training days
Year-end celebrations that recognise every participant
The cadet pathway that turns first-time sailors into lifelong club members
If you've ever benefited from sailing, you know what it gave you. This is your chance to give that same gift to a young person in Hong Kong who might otherwise never have it.
Your contribution will directly impact students' lives and help build an inclusive sailing community in Hong Kong!
We are a lean, volunteer-led initiative. There are no salaries, overheads, or intermediaries. 100% of donations go directly to the students and the programme.
Ready to Jump in? Let's talk!
In partnership with the RHKYC Middle Island Training Centre, the Royal Hong Kong Yacht Club Charity Foundation, and the Hong Kong Dragon Class, we're building something that only exists because people got in touch. Be one of them.
Send us your questions, ideas, financial contributions, or anything else — we read every message and reply within two working days.
